Board Proposal To Jack Brown

OUTREACH CENTER

October 25, 2002

TO: Mr. Jack Brown

The Milwaukee Outreach Center

FROM: TMOC Board of Directors

REF: Board of Directors decision on future direction of TMOC

Dear Jack,

After prayer and thoughtful consideration of all aspects we find today for The Milwaukee Outreach Center and you, the board has decided on this plan. This decision was reached utilizing many of your thoughts and decisions in your documents to the board dated, August 23, 2002, October 7, 2002 and October 21, 2002.

You will be given the choice to accept the position of Founder reporting directly and only to the Executive Director of The Milwaukee Outreach Center. In your letter of August 23, 2002 you decided and acted to promote Mike Rintelman to Executive Director and we support this action. In your letter of October 21, 2002 you reversed yourself, but we believe that your first decision was the correct one. Over the years you have supported, trained, developed and promoted Mike as any good leader would, so that The Milwaukee Outreach Center would have a viable candidate to succeed yourself. As your letter of October 7, 2002 states in the book review of The Leadership Paradox," The true servant leader, with nothing to prove and no vested interest, takes joy in seeing others grow beyond himself.

The final job description for Founder will be developed under the direction of the board of directors, the Executive Director and you. The job description will be developed to:

Your annual salary will be $50,000 as you proposed in the 2003 budget with full benefits available to all employees of TMOC. If your decision is that the position as Founder outlined above is not acceptable, TMOC will provide the following benefits to support you and allow you time to secure other employment or ministry:

If in the future after you accept the position as Founder and Mike Rintelman decides to leave TMOC, the board of directors will pursue finding a new individual to fill the position as Executive Director.for TMOC.

The board requires your decision by November 8, 2002.

It is our prayers and desires that you realize we are appreciative of your service to TMOC over the years.

In His Service,

Board of Directors
