More of Jack's Thoughts
To help you get more of a feel for Jack's style of thinking and writing, we have reproduced here some notes he took as the events in his journal unfolded. They are reproduced here in his handwriting, to give you a better picture of what was going on in his mind at the time. Most of these files are PDF (Portable Document Format) files, which require Adobe Reader to view.
- Notes from phone conversations with Bob Pawlak and Tim Ryder
- Notes Jack made about the possible scenarios he mentioned in his journal.
- Notes Jack made while considering what to do. From internal evidence these notes appear to be from the Nov-Dec period covered in the Journal.
By-Laws
Towards the end, Jack was concerned about The Milwaukee Outreach Center, an organization he helped found. He felt the organization needed to be reconsituted with new bylaws which more accurately reflected the day-to-day operation of the organization.
We re-create here an uncommented copy of the by-laws (HTML version) as they were at the time, and an annotated copy (PDF) with Jack's annotations showing where he believed they had been operating outside of their by-laws.
Final Arrangements
Here is a set of documents covering Jack's final departure.
